Brewers and Breweries in Tubize
“Brasseurs et Brasserie à Tubize”, it’s 15 breweries and 5 centuries of history. The result of a long research and writing process that saw the collaboration between a true beer lover and a historian, this book offers you a detailed note on each of the breweries active in Tubize, Clabecq, Oisquercq and Saintes.
The historical overviews are usefully complemented by a series of inserts on beer and its production. There is also an abundant illustration combining period photographs, archival documents, genealogical charts and a time line.

The result of a long research and writing process that saw the collaboration between a true beer lover and a historian, this book offers you a detailed note on each of the old or current breweries in Braine-l’Alleud and its hamlets, Ophain-Bois-Seigneur-Isaac, Lillois-Witterzee and Waterloo.

It’s not over yet, the author is currently working on the sequel. A third book is probably planned for the end of 2021. It will relate the same theme, but the study will focus on Ittre, Rebecq and Braine-le-Château.
